Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Blossom

General Questions

What is Blossom?

Blossom lets you deploy apps to your own servers with ease — like Heroku, but with more control and lower costs.

You connect your Cloud Provider like Digital Ocean, Hetzner, AWS, etc, and we’ll handle building and deploying the app.

Is this like Heroku or Render or Vercel or Fly.io or Railway?

Yes, but with a key difference: Blossom gives you more control over your infrastructure while maintaining the ease of use of these platforms.

Unlike these platforms where you’re locked into their infrastructure, with Blossom you own and control your servers. This means:

  • Lower costs (reduced platform markup)
  • No vendor lock-in
  • Full control over your infrastructure
  • Ability to use any cloud provider you prefer

Do I need to bring my own cloud account?

Yes, you’ll need to connect your own cloud provider account (like Digital Ocean, Hetzner, AWS, etc). This is what allows us to give you more control and lower costs.

We’ll guide you through the process of connecting your account, and you can use any of our supported providers.

What cloud providers do you support?

We support major cloud providers including AWS, Digital Ocean, Hetzner, Linode, Vultr, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OVHcloud. Each provider is fully integrated with our platform for seamless deployment and management.

How do you handle security?

Security is our top priority. We follow industry-standard practices, including encrypted TLS/SSL connections and secure credential management. For Blossom-managed VPC networks, we take a security-by-default approach—provisioning managed firewalls even when the cloud provider defaults to more permissive settings.

Billing & Pricing

How does pricing work?

We have clear and simple pricing. We charge on a per-server basis. It works out to about $10 per month per server. You can see the pricing detail on our pricing page.

What happens when the trial ends?

After your 5-day free trial, you’ll need to add a payment method to continue using Blossom. The platform shows you when the trial ends so you can decide whether to continue.

If you don’t add a payment method, your account will be paused but not deleted. You can reactivate it anytime by adding a payment method.

How can I download the invoice receipts?

  1. Go to your settings page
  2. Click on the “Account / Billing” tab
  3. Click on “Manage Subscription”
  4. In the “Invoices” section, you’ll see a list of invoices
  5. Click on the Invoice you want to download
  6. Click on the “Download” button
